On March 30, 2025 the church congregation affirmed DR. Jeffrey Hessinger as our Senior Pastor at Eagles’ Nest Baptist Church. He begins his tenure with us on May 1, 2025 after serving as pastor in Montana. He is returning to his home state of Florida with his wife Errin. Dr. Hessinger is a seasoned pastor with over 29 years experience leading, growing churches, associations, and state conventions. Ordained in 1990 he is an authentic minister who loves people and is looking forward to serving at Eagles‘ Nest Baptist Church.

Education:
Dr. Hessinger earned his doctorate from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2005 and Master of Divinity from there in 1990  He also earned a Bachelor of Arts, Biblical Education from Florida Bible College and an Associate of Business Administration from Orlando College  

Personal Information:
He is married to Errin Hessinger who holds a Master of Educational Leadership from Liberty University. Children: Zach. Austin, Sarah, Michael and Lindsey, all  grown and making their parents so very proud. 

Personal Statement: 

“I became a Christian through the ministry of First Baptist, Orlando Florida. Seven months later I responded to the clear call of God to vocational Christian ministry through the preaching ministry of Dr. Jim Henry. I desire to share the gospel with people from all walks of life as well as equip and disciple the body of Christ. I desire for God to use me to bring others to know Christ as I seek to carry out the Great Commandment and the Great Commission”
