We all face trials in life and sometimes those trials may bring us battles we are afraid to face. Life’s trials may bring with it many temptations to go against God’s truth. We have choices, we can give into those fears, let the battle consume us, let the temptations break us or...we can run to God and allow Him to lead the battle and trust Him to arm us with what we need to win. 

We must beware of those who cheer us on as we travel down paths that differ from God’s word. When they do so and are rejoicing as we get further from the Truth then please remember...

1 Corinthians 13:6 “Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth” 

2 Timothy 2:22  “Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart” 

When we’re facing our darkest day and our fiercest battle know that God is beside us. He will fight for us. Go to God when you are weak and let him take the battle on. The choice is yours and if you don’t choose God then don’t blame Him when you face the consequences of your choice. Don’t blame others, don’t excuse yourself, own it. God gave you free will, it all on you. There is still hope if you take a detour down the wrong path, turn back to God. He is still there waiting with arms wide open. 

Exodus 14:14 "The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace"

Isaiah 45:2 : “I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight”

Jeremiah 1:8 “Do not be afraid of their faces, for I am with you to deliver you”

Matthew 11:28 “Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”

Galatians 6:9 “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

James 1:12 “Blessed [is] the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.”
