The Shulammite Woman

Read and Reflect on Song of Songs 1:2-4Song of Songs 2:10-13Song of Songs 8:6-8 (Song of Solomon)

The Shulamite woman is a character in the Bible's Song of Solomon, where she is referred to as the bride and is called a "princess". The Shulamite's relationship with her mother, brothers, and the man she loved is described in the poem in Song of Songs (Solomon).

Praise God that nothing can separate us from His love.

Thank God that Christ's passion has rendered us beautiful in the eyes of God.

Confess any failure to believe God truly is the Lover of your soul.

Ask God to help you enter into a dialog of love with Him.

The Shulammite woman was so captivated by the man that she loved that his name was like perfume to her that made everything in her world smell good.  In Biblical times, names were given to reveal that person's character.

Sit quietly and meditate on a few of God's names.  Look up relevant scriptures and ask God to reveal Himself more deeply to you.
